ATG Earns Top Honor From True Value; Named Overall Supplier of the Year
SPARKS, MD -- August 27, 2018 -- Apex Tool Group has been named True Value’s “Overall Supplier of the Year” for 2017, a “huge honor for the company,” shares Kevin Keller, Vice President of National Retail & Hardware Accounts at ATG. True Value featured ATG and our account team in its 2017 annual report, recognizing us with a full-color spread and citing our innovation, global value and quality, and trusted brands.
This is the first time ATG earned this prestigious recognition from True Value, a customer since 1967. “Stellar quality and service are why we were chosen as True Value’s 2017 Overall Supplier of the Year for this 4,400-store hardware retailer,” adds Keller.
True Value’s annual report highlighted that “Innovation is key to relevance at ATG – and a strategic priority to drive growth. The company has ramped up investment in what it calls ‘product vitality’ to continuously improve even its most basic tool lines.”
